A pendant based on a mosaic floor's pattern from the Roman fortress in the archeological site of Deir Qala in west Samaria. The site was found by the Palestine Exploration Fund's British researchers in 1873. Remains of a Roman fortress, a Byzantine church and an agricultural farm were excavated. The beautiful mosaic floors were removed and are currently exhibited at the Good Samaritan Museum, located between Jerusalem and Jericho.
