One of CGJ's first items, curved from a damaged recycled piece of silver. It was supposed to be melted and recycled once more, but I just saw Lot's wife hidden within it. Maybe because a day earlier I was guiding in Mount Sodom area, the verse (Genesis 19, 26) was kept in my mind: "But his wife looked back behind him and she became a pillar of salt."
Therefore the piece is shaped as a pillar. Her profile is to the left and she is looking towards the east, where Sodom probably existed. At the bottom of the pillar there is a 14K Yellow Gold drop shaped bezel, holding a Blue Sapphire stone which resembles the Dead Sea waters' color and Lot's wife deepest sorrow in a salty tear.
Out of the destruction a story emerged. Out of the damage a pendant was made.
