When the Red Sea waters were divided by God, the children of Israel crossed it on dry ground, escaping from Egypt towards the promised land. The Egyptians refused to let them go, and entered also, chasing with their horses and chariots, into the dry land.

But God had no intension to let them re-enslave his people, so when the last Israelite arrived to the shore, He commanded the powers of nature to go back where they belong.

The Red Sea waters returned and covered the Egyptian army and the people of Israel were saved on their way from slavery to freedom. This impressive story is written in Exodus chapter 14.

In the right side of the pendant's frame - the front part of a horse is getting in, representing the Egyptian army.  In the lower left part, a man is getting out of the frame, running. He is the last among the Israelites to cross the sea. In the middle - something that looks like a whale's tail, and above it - a fish, both rotate together counter-clockwise.

The blue stones resemble the waters returning with the sea creatures to their natural place.

H 10 mm, W 10 mm. 16" length chain.
